Pastor and Mrs. Greg Carson
Gregory Carson is founder and Senior Pastor of Tabernacle Christian Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pastor Carson graduated from Olympic High School in Charlotte and continued his education by attending North Carolna Central University in Durham, North Carolina, where he received a BS degree with a dual major of Chemistry and Biology.
In August of 1986, Pastor Carson was employed by Mount Zion Christian Academy as a Science and Math teacher, a position he held for seven years, rising to the position of Assistant Principal and Athletic Director.
In 1993, Pastor Carson left Mount Zion Christian Academy to start his own business, Christian Enterprises, Inc., which includes a sports apparel company, a janitorial service, and a construction company. He continues to operate this company today.
In 1997, Pastor Carson went to work for Faith Bible Church, located in Fort Mill, South Carolina. While there, he rose from the position of Associate Pastor to Assistant Pastor, which included the duties of instructing in the ministry's Bible School, helping start and oversee the Christian Academy, and overseeing the Helps Ministry.
While working in this capacity, God was preparing him for the call He had placed on his life, which culminated in 2005 when he started Tabernacle Christian Center in Raleigh.
Pastor Carson is married to Cecelia Carson and is the father of three beautiful daughters, LaShondra, Brittany, and Tiffany.
